Why did you choose this sector? ITI Modasa located in taluka H.Q. & there was no direct linkage of rail link. It's also recognized as main goods transportation business center for Rajsthan, Madhyapradesh, Hariyana & Maharastra States . So, there is vital scope of automobile service sector and surface transportation with great potential.

It is essential to upgrade above trade because these are popular trades and highly demanded. IMC has also recommended upgrading to those trades.

Civil works-describe and justify any civil works you want to undertake

New workshop building is required for advanced module/Automobile of CoE. The existing workshops are more than 25 years old and there is no any maintenance work carried out renovation work is required. It is also plan to make modern classrooms, sanitary blocks, renovation, casing work and parking area under civil work. Flooring of old workshops may also renovate.

Equipment

Latest equipments are to be introduced & to be purchased for BBBT & Advanced Modules, as per syllabus of automobile sector.

Vehicles:

Required as per syllabus.
Provision for one minibus is required for local industrial visits of trainees OR it should be hired.

Furniture:

To be purchase as accordance with equipments & lab developments. It is also proposed to replaced the old condemned office furniture, computer tables and chairs.

Books, Learning Resources and Software:

Modern library is to be set up for trainees, staff. Various books, charts, reference books, multimedia lesions, computer magazine, learning tools, computers are to be purchased.

Placement advisory bureau to be set up for trainees for better career guidance and employment related information.

Latest computer lab is to be set up with internet facility and latest MIS software.

Training of Teaching Staff :

For improvement of effectiveness and enhancing technical knowledge, efficiency & relevance of training it is proposed for teaching staff to have private industry based training. So, by encouraging expensing of private training we improve the skill training of teaching staff. It is essential and it is also a continuous process.

Training of Non-Teaching Staff :

Specialized training like Computer Operating, Human resource training, Financial Management, Store Management Training etc. Such type of training should be provided to non teaching staff. So that the system is working with more efficiently & effectively. It is essential and it is also a continuous process.

Additional Staff :

It is necessary to obtain contractual based technical staff, guest faculties and technical experts from Industries of relevant fields.

Consumables and Training Materials – describe and justify consumables and any maintenance you need :

It is necessary to obtain consumables and trainee materials as per the needs of basic training as well as advanced training. For making practical job and practical training it is essential. The demand is obtained from various departments and procurements are made accordingly.
